Coming Back Out Salon

Robyn will perform with George Butrumlis for the Coming Back Out Salon at The Edge, in Melbourne’s Federation Square.

Created and maintained by Tristan Meecham with Bec Reid and All the Queen’s Men, this is the third salon Robyn has participated in; the first was the grand Melbourne Town Hall gala, the second in Sydney Town Hall for World Pride.

Hosted by Flinders University, this year’s speaker is Petra Kalive, Artistic Director of the State Theatre Company of South Australia

Jacques Martial Memorial

Robyn will sing in Paris at the memorial for actor, activist, and all-around great human being Jacques Martial, who passed away in August at the age of 69. As a longtime collaborator and friend with Jacques, Robyn co-commissioned his solo theatrical version of Aimé Césaire’s seminal Notebook of a Return to my Native Land. It premiered at Ten Days on the Island and went on to tour the world for many years. Robyn introduced Jacques to Back to Back Theatre, and he subsequently invited them to perform at Parc la Villette.
